Wurtec's laser alignment kit enables you to position your rails properly in the hoistway and align them straight and plumb without ever having to drop a line. The heart of the kit is the Klein® self-leveling crossline laser (#10051218), accurate to within 3/32" (0.238 cm) per 33' (10.06m). The laster is mounted directly to a rail using our specially-designed mounting bracket assembly (#10-10051211). The plumbing of the rail is accomplished using our universal laser target gauge (#10-10051059). **Note: the universal target gauge aligns rail from the side of the rail face rather than the center of the face to allow variable rail thickness.** **Note: The Klein® laser has a range of 65'. After this point, you must move the laser up to another rail to continue aligning rails. For this reason, the laser alignment kit is recommended for use only with low-rise applications.**
