Wurtec’s simple rail alignment tool uses an elastic line for fast and easy alignment of elevator rails. The tool consists of (2) aluminum angles that mount to either rail, and (1) thin elastic cord that stretches between them. By comparing the notches on the aluminum angles to the position of the elastic line, the user can quickly identify whether the rails are aligned. This tool adapts easily to any DBG and is one of the quickest and most compact solutions available for aligning elevator rails.
