The spreader centerline tool is an adjustable measurement tool that allows technicians to accurately find and mark the centerline for rail bracket installation. Use this assembly to lower a plumb bob to the bottom of the hoistway, adjust as needed, and mark centerlines down the entire hoistway. Then position the chalk line over the markings and snap it to the wall.
