Tuftin® #73 babbitt is a lead-free alloy designed for pouring bearings in older, heavy-duty elevator hoist machines, motors, and generators. It has the right mix of virgin nickel, copper, and antimony to achieve the desirable performance characteristics required for heavy-duty service. For regular applications, see Tuftex® Rollite #77 (part no. 16-452). Comes in a bar of 5 weighing 3.5 lbs.
