The Wurtec Anti-Rotation Device provides a secure and convenient way to record essential elevator wire rope information directly at the suspension system. Designed to be completed when ropes are installed or replaced, the durable tag provides dedicated fields for recording important wire rope and installation information. The tag is secured to the elevator shackles using a stainless steel aircraft cable and anti-rotation locking clip. The cable is routed through the shackle assemblies and pulled through the locking clip, which automatically grips the cable to keep the tag securely positioned and help prevent rotation. Installation instructions are printed directly on the reverse side of the tag for easy reference in the field.
