After a six-month delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the biannual Interlift trade fair convened in Augsburg, Germany from April 26th-29th, 2022.
Interlift brings together elevator professionals from Europe and around the world to network, share insights, and explore the latest developments in vertical transportation technology.
Wurtec’s delegation included CEO Steve Wurth, President Blake Pilgrim, and representatives from the sales and engineering teams. The booth display brought together standard Wurtec offerings such as rail blocks, T-rail lifters, our rope brake, and our time-out jumper kit along with prototypes of our latest innovations, including a cam rail block and a spring-loaded beam clamp.
Despite a smaller than usual turnout as Europe still emerges from pandemic restrictions, the team encountered an engaged and enthusiastic crowd representing all sectors of the global lift industry.
“Interlift is one of the few chances we have to meet face-to-face with international distributors and customers,” Tim Lykowski, regional sales account manager for North America and the European / Middle Eastern market, commented. “After a couple years of travel restrictions, people were eager to engage in-person again.”
The next Interlift fair is slated for October 17th-20th, 2023. The team is already preparing.
“Wurtec products have been very well-received in the European and international elevator industry,” noted Stephen Vasquez, Global Marketing and Strategic Accounts Manager. “We see tremendous potential in these markets, and Interlift is our best opportunity for reaching these customers and showing them what Wurtec has to offer.”
