Documentation

The WUR-COM+ is an all-inclusive IP Solution requiring no analog phone. The WUR-COM standard model utilizes both standard analog phone and digital text/video, so it does require a phone line.

Does the Wur-Com require a phone line?

Wurtec provides 24 hour emergency monitoring, 365 days a year. If you wish to use your own monitoring service, Wurtec provides access to the WUR-COM web portal.

Does Wurtec monitor the elevator?

WUR-COM can be powered by a PoE Splitter or a 5VDC power supply.

How is the Wur-Com powered?

Network port requirements for bare functionality of the WUR-COM system:

The ports required for communication is port 443 (TCP/UDP, Outbound). Port 9993 (UDP, Outbound) is required for update and remote VPN support.

Communication must be permitted on TCP/UDP 443 for 

1) outbound traffic to admin.wurcom.com and elevator.wurcom.com

4) TCP port 8883 is MQTT, which is what we use to register devices

5) NTP (port 123 and possibly 1023) is required to keep devices set to the correct time
